WaveLight is a German company specializing in the production of medical lasers for aesthetic dermatology.

Arion is an alexandrite laser with long pulse and wavelength of 755nm, the new laser lamp was produced in 2010.

This makes it one of the most modern and effective systems for laser epilation. The best results of treatments we get with clients with dark hair and fair skin.

The aim of laser energy is melanin - the pigment located in hair follicle. Laser light is absorbed by the core of hair (the visible part of hair), and conducted into the hair follicle (inside skin), where the laser energy permanently destroys the hair matrix, so the hair does not regrow.


THE ADVANTAGE OF ALEXANDRIDE LASER OVER DIODE (EG LIGHTSHEER):

• treatments with alexandride laser are much faster:
treatment on the entire back takes about 40 minutes (the light beam is moved over the skin with a frequency of 5 Hz, spot diameter is up to 14mm), the laser tip does not touch the skin directly
precise treatment of the same area with diode laser takes approximately 5 hours - the laser head, which area is 1cm 2, must be wiped after each shot, beacues it is applied directly on the skin and so the burnt hair from the previous shots must be removed

• treatments with alexandride laser are more comfortable in some parts (eg, bikini), because the laser head does not touch the skin directly, the head of diode laser - yes.

• treatments with alexandride laser are far less painful


COMMON ELEMENTS:

• the effectiveness of treatments with alexandride laser and diode laser is the same, because their wavelength is very similar: 755nm alexandride laser, lightSheer 800nm - infrared - the difference is 45nm.

• the aim of both lasers is melanin located in hair follicle, therefore the principle of the two lasers is the same - laser energy is absorbed by the melanin and the hair follicle is destroyed
